The National Eating Disorders Collaboration (NEDC) is committed to bringing together the latest available evidence, communicating about it, and putting it into action to improve the system of care for people living with eating disorders, and their families and/or supports. NEDC is dedicated to evidence-based initiatives and embeds the latest knowledge from research, clinical expertise and lived experience through all our projects.

NEDC is an initiative of the Australian Government dedicated to developing and implementing a nationally consistent, evidence-based system of care for the prevention and treatment of eating disorders. It to improve the health outcomes of people with, or at risk of developing, an eating disorder in Australia. They recognise the need to take a long-term approach to the promotion, prevention and early intervention for eating disorders.
